On behalf of everyone at Ntirety, I want to take a moment and wish everyone a happy and safe Fourth of July.
The Fourth of July – also known as Independence Day – has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the American Revolution. As we celebrate the 245th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America, we continue to have much to appreciate – the sheer beauty of our country, our cultural diversity, freedom of speech and religion, our generosity, our entrepreneurial spirit, and our constant guard for democracy at home and abroad.
While we certainly have work to do as a nation to be inclusive of all members of society, the Fourth of July provides an opportunity for all of us to reflect on the true meaning of our citizenship. As an immigrant to the US, to me, to be American is about so much more than simply a place that I call home. It is about a deeply felt commitment to the much higher principles of liberty, freedom, self-governance, and equality for all. On that note, I would like to take a moment to thank those who are currently serving or have served in our armed forces for their sacrifices to protect our nation.
I hope you will be spending part of the July 4th holiday celebrating our nation’s birthday with family and friends. I hope you are enjoying this great holiday and spending this well-deserved break with your families and friends. For those that are working over the holiday weekend in supporting our customers, big thank you! May you and your family enjoy a Fourth of July holiday filled with thankfulness and gratitude for living in this great nation of opportunity, promise, and hope.
